From Vienna: Take a train from Vienna Central Station to Eisenstadt. From there, buses are available to Mörbisch am See.
From Eisenstadt: A bus departs hourly from Domplatz in Eisenstadt directly to Mörbisch am See. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
By Car
From Vienna: The fastest route is via the A2 and A3 towards Eisenstadt. Take the Eisenstadt-Ost exit and follow the B50 towards Neusiedl am See. In Schützen am Gebirge, turn right towards Oggau and continue through Rust to Mörbisch.
From Eisenstadt: Drive along the B52 towards St. Margarethen, then continue on to Mörbisch am See. The route is about 20 km, with a driving time of approximately 20 minutes.
Parking
- Parking at the Festival Grounds: Free parking is available directly at the festival site. However, these spots tend to fill up quickly during events, so it’s recommended to arrive early.
- Additional Parking: When the main parking areas are full, additional parking is provided near the fire station in Mörbisch.
- Shuttle Bus Service: On specific dates, free shuttle buses operate between Mörbisch and the Seebühne. Details are announced in advance on the Seefestspiele Mörbisch website.
- Parking for RVs: Overnight parking for RVs and campervans is permitted in designated areas of the lake bath parking lot, provided you continue your journey the next day. Place your Seefestspiele tickets visibly behind the windshield for police inspection.
